Lucie has a background in Nursing and a decade of experience working in the Homecare sector in Ireland. Her passion is enabling older people to age at home by providing the necessary supports and working closely with HSE professionals and family members.
Lucie is also the Founder of Generations Together Ireland. A Community Initiative that partners up Nursing Homes with Childcare Facilities. Inspired by the Channel Four documentary: Old People’s Home For 4 Year Olds, Generations Together Irelandaims to bring together Nursing Home residents and preschool children to help transform the lives of both generations for the better. The pilot scheme, which began in Lucan, Co Dublin in 2017, has proven to be very successful, with 3 Nursing Homes and 6 childcare facilities enjoying weekly visits for the last 12 months.
Lucie’s passion to improve the lives of our elder generation is the driving force behind her social enterprises.
